D.S.S. Racing Base Mod Longblocks  make it possible to add a small power adder to your car without breaking the bank. Modular engines love power adders however the std hyperutectic pistons and powdered  metal rods are not really up to the task. The Dss Racing Base Mod engines  feature strong Forged SX series  pistons, Forged I beam rods with ARP rod bolts and Ductile Iron molly rings The Ford Racing PI heads that we use on our 2V longblocks also are ready  for boost or NOS. Factory PI heads have just a few spark plug threads holding in the spark The Ford Racing version we use has longer spark plug thread count that is so important so you do not blow out the spark plugs.
