The D.S.S. Base Bullet Short Block is our lowest cost alternative to a stock rebuild or a factory crate motor. We recommend this engine for daily driven, low maintenance, moderate horsepower, street applications. Designed for a naturally aspirated vehicle, D.S.S. Base Bullet short blocks include a D.S.S. SX Rotating assembly featuring D.S.S. SX Series Forged pistons to free up horsepower and allow you to use bigger valves and/or a moderate lift cam.
